Prayer Group
Facilitator: Laura Walton

The goal is to deepen our individual and congregation prayer lives.
We will begin with a brief devotional. Scriptures will encompass the
topics of faith, forgiveness, worship, holiness, community, and evangelism.
Members of the group are encouraged to contribute their experiences,
understanding, and thoughts on the topic. The remainder of the time
will be dedicated to prayer, either as a group, or in prayer together
with a partner. |

We have been going through a booklet produced by SonLife ministries
titled "Walking as Jesus Walked." It looks at 6 characteristics
of a
well-balanced church (and Christian) and encourages us follow Christ.
We've been having good discussions, and in the next 6 weeks we plan
to finish the booklet. People who have not read the first six lessons
will be able to merge right into the group without any trouble. Open
to anyone interested.
