NewLife teens - Mission trip to the Philippines - July 26 to August 9, 2006
| For two
weeks, the group
participated in various outreach missions in communities among
different tribes in Luzon and Masbate Islands. They had a chance to do
evangelism and interact with people they served. The teens prepared for
the trip with evangelism training and by learning about the culture. The entire program was coordinated by the WCG Philippines Missions department (coordinators: Pastors Rey Taniajura and Rex Dela Pena). On this trip, the teens saw God working through them to help others with their spiritual and physical needs; they also saw God working in them as they encountered the challenges that inevitably arise on a trip like this.
